★★★3 star property

The Praktik Metropol stands majestically on Madrid’s Gran Vía, the so-called Broadway of Madrid, combining cosmopolitan buildings of incomparable elegance and architectonic value, with the most vibrant modernity. It is here where the majority of theatres, cinemas and shops are to be found. The Praktik Metropol building has been immaculately restored, maintaining its original elegance and its unmistakeable blend of American and French styles, very characteristic of the most sophisticated trends of European capitals at the beginning of the 20th century. The beautifully preserved interior is characterized by vintage-style design with Scandinavian touches. The two most striking areas of the Praktik Metropol are our open-air rooftop terrace with impressive 360º panoramic views, located on the ninth floor with tables and loungers for the ultimate in relaxation after a day in the city. The other is adjacent to the reception, where you will discover a spacious welcoming lounge with sofas, armchairs, and tables, featuring luminous broad windows overlooking Montera Street. Centrally located next to Madrid’s Gran Via Metro Station, Praktik Metropol offers free Wi-Fi and a 24-hour reception. The chic soundproofed rooms come with air conditioning and satellite TV. Decorated in minimalist white, rooms feature wooden floors and include a safe. They are heated and have a private bathroom with amenities. The Praktik Metropol’s central location means there are many bars, shops and restaurant in the immediate area. Public parking is available nearby and the hotel has a tour desk. Puerta del Sol is just 200 metres away and you can walk to the Prado Museum in 10 minutes. Please note that group reservations cannot be accepted.
