Riad Dar Mumtaz

This family-friendly country house is located just 10 minutes' drive from the heart of the Red City with its medina and 20 minutes from railway station. In a 20-minute drive guests may find restaurants in Jad Mahal or go shopping in Asima. Pubs and discos are in Pacha, a 25-minute drive away. Guests can reach the mountains in an hour by car. Right at the Jbilets foot hills, this charming guesthouse has a most spectacular view of Marrakech City, the palm groves and the snow-capped Atlas Mountains. Just as the famous Empress Mumtaz inspired her husband, Emperor Shah Jahan, to build the Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World, as a tribute to her beauty and to his devotional love, the symbols throughout this guesthouse are also a tribute to beauty. The single-level, air-conditioned guesthouse offers 8 rooms, a garden, terrace and lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out service. A TV lounge, café, bar and restaurant are available to cater for guests' dining and entertainment needs. Guests may also take advantage of the WLAN Internet access and room service. The rooms are en suite with shower/bath and equipped with a double or king-size bed, satellite/cable TV, Internet access, a minibar and ironing set. They also have individually regulated air conditioning and heating and a balcony or terrace. Guests can go golfing around 2 km from the guesthouse. The guesthouse serves a continental breakfast.
