Albergo Ospizio Bernina

The Hotel Bernina Hospiz is located at 2309 metres altitude on the Bernina pass and has a terrace with glacier views, a cosy Italian restaurant and offers free internet. From June to November, the Hotel Bernina Hospiz can easily be reached by the legendary Berninaexpress train from Chur, Celerina and St. Moritz. Cars can be parked free of charge on site or against surcharge at the hotels garage. There is a rustic „Stübli“ suitable for various events and meetings, a common room with a TV and a play room with a flipper and table football. Within a 5-minute drive you can reach the Diavolezza/Lagalb ski area and there is also a huge network of cross-country tracks between Pontresina, Maloja and Zernez at your disposal. The Ospizio Bernina is also a great base for snow kiters and for ski or hiking tours. Several professional athletes and teams stayed at the Albergo to train in high altitudes. Please note that the property is not reachable by train from December to the end of May. If you arrive by train during winter time, please contact the hotel in advance to obtain information about the condition of the walkway to the hotel. During snow fall, this walkway is covered in deep snow and therefore it is not recommended to arrive with heavy luggage or unsuited shoes. In case of bad weather, please get off at Bernina Diavolezza and call a taxi. The hotel does not provide transport of any kind and assumes no responsibility for clients not reaching the hotel due to heavy snowfall. When booking 4 rooms or more, different policies and additional supplements may apply. Disclaimer notification: Amenities are subject to availability and may be chargeable as per the hotel policy.
