Tiffyhall
Tiffyhall holiday cottages were actually part of a large croft originally owned by the Earl of Zetland. When the previous owners purchased Tiffyhall it had stood derelict for at least 50 years so needed a lot of tender loving care. The original cottage and attached barn were renovated and converted to what is now both the holiday cottages and a few years later they converted the last range of buildings to a lovely cottage which we now live in. They then sett aside 4 acres at Tiffyhall and planted up at least 2 acres of these with trees. They then dug 2 large flight ponds in the last couple of years and have seen migrating swans flying in and enjoying these. We hope to encourage more wildlife and allow our visitors and community to enjoy the trees and land. We will continue developing this area into a wildlife friendly place.
